The 2010 Muhammad Ali Scholars tour of England builds on an exciting global collaboration between the Youth Charter and the MUHAMMAD ALI INSTITUTE.

This year, the Muhammad Ali Scholars will visit Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford and London in the UK and then travel on to Accra in Ghana, Africa. The UK tour is intended to facilitate debate, learning and interaction with international contemporaries.

The central theme reflected in the visits, discussions and conference during the four day tour will be the role of Olympism and its continued ability to develop social and human opportunities for young people and communities The tour will culminate with a report that will look at the social and cultural legacy benefits from major games including the 2012 London Olympics that can be realised by young people and communities locally, nationally and internationally.
