The Olympic Legacy Conference is the culmination of the Youth Charter's ongoing work in developing the social and human potential of the bidding and hosting of major games. As part of its global Citizenship in Action initiative, the Youth Charter hosted the 2010 Muhammad Ali Scholars Tour of the UK. The Youth Charter Muhammad Ali 2010 tour of UK ยป 15-19 May 2010 The International Ali Scholars Program is set to visit the UK in May this year and Youth Charter will be supporting the visit.
This special two-year learning program for talented undergraduate students is offered by the Muhammad Ali Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of Louisville, who partner with selected colleges and universities around the world.
It provides student/scholars the opportunity to gain awareness into social justice, violence prevention, and peace building. The aim is to learn the skills and confidence that will allow them to work for social justice, both locally and globally.

Since 2006, a collaboration and partnership has been developed between the Youth Charter, the Muhammad Ali Institute and the Muhammad Ali Center.
This began with the Muhammad Ali Tour of the North West. The legacy of the tour has seen stronger links established with the Youth Charter visiting Louisville, Kentucky to build, foster and develop projects and programmes that lead to the social and human development of young people and communities with global citizenship, tolerance, understanding and leadership based on the Youth Charter philosophy and values.
