The Challenge

Following the delivery of a climate change awareness programme through sport and the arts, the Youth Charter’s Carbonwise Day and education programme had delivered a unique and exciting cross curriculum and Carbonwise awareness experience through sport and the arts. With the support of Land Securities Trillium, Citizenship in Action (CIA) Salford provided an opportunity to add value and identify a wider social and cultural impact on the schools, lives and communities of Moorside High School, Walkden High School and Albion High School. The Carbonwise Day was delivered at Moorside High School and represented a unique opportunity to young people, not only locally, but young people nationally and globally.
